RULES AND REGULATIONS OF COURSES

 

Courses on request
Custom courses in English can be held at Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® throughout the year. You can send a specific request to our booking centre by calling 800800907 free of charge or sending a request form via email (click here to access). A custom private course will be created based on your needs in terms of time, budget, type of course, occasion or event (birthday, graduation, parties for friends, anniversaries, hen or stag dos, learning-educational workshops for schools, meetings, conferences, team-building events for companies).

How classes are formed
Courses are led by the Maestri of the Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® and held in a specific cookery area with 14 stations with all the tools you need.
Under exceptional circumstances and following an agreement with the person making the booking, the stations can be used by 2 people at the same time, so the number of participants in the course would be 28.


Type of courses

The Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® provides consumers with a wide variety of courses covering different themes and techniques to cater for the needs of a varied public ranging from beginners to experts. Via the website of the Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina®, you can select a course both by reference period and type.


What the course involves
The Maestri of the Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® will teach you to process chocolate with simple tools, so that you can repeat the recipe at home. Processing chocolate always involves showing manual tempering and/or how the technique is carried out, an essential step in making chocolate glossy, crunchy and ready for the different creations.
At the end of every course you will be given a diploma or a certificate of attendance, the recipe, the apron of the
Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® and, of course, the artistic creations you made during the course.



Disabled people
The courses of the Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® are open to disabled people as well. Bear in mind that the course will involve the use of tools requiring caution, such as knives, hot plates, forks, etc. Before making your booking online, contact our call centre if there are disabled people with limited ability to use this equipment and we will be able to provide all the information in this regard to meet your request. In this case, specify the presence of disabled people when filling in the booking form.


 
How to pay for the course

You can pay for the course by:

  • Credit Card
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer


Confirming registration with a payment by: Credit Card
If paying by credit card, your confirmation of registration to the course is immediately transmitted to the email address specified at the time of registration. In this case, once the email is received you no longer need to do anything else. Just come to the Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® on the chosen date for the course and provide the printed receipt of the payment to the School.


Confirming registration with a payment by: Bank Transfer
Proceed as follows if paying by bank transfer:

  • Wait to receive the email confirming your right to book the course and also reporting the necessary information for the bank transfer via your bank.
  • Make the bank transfer within 3 days from the date of registration.
  • Send a copy of the bank transfer confirmation via fax or email, possibly by also reporting the CRO code provided by the bank.
  • As soon as we receive the bank transfer, an additional email to confirm your booking will be sent.


As specified in the first email sent by you, the bank transfer must be made within 3 days from the booking date, by also sending the copy of the bank transfer as specified above. After this deadline, Nestlé Italy reserves the option to cancel your booking and inform you by email. In this case, please go back to the booking site and make a new booking.
In the event of difficulties/delays in doing this, please contact the service via the dedicated form and/or call us at 800800907 free of charge.


Cancelling your booking
If you cannot join the course you have booked and/or have changed your mind, you can ask for a full refund of the amount paid only if the request is made within 15 days after the booking date and always more than seven days before the date of the course.
If the request is not made by this time, the
Scuola del Cioccolato Perugina® may consider possible changes of the date, moving your booking according to availability at the next course and in any case no later than 6 months after the cancelled booking. In any case, if the request is not made within the above deadlines the refund will not be provided.

How Refunds are made
Refunds are only made via the same payment method used for the booking. If paying by bank transfer, refunds will always be made with the same payment method. Obviously, you will need to send by email the IBAN code of the current account where you would like us to make the refund, unless you have already done so at the time of cancellation. The name of the current account holder must not be changed in relation to the name provided at the time of booking.


Changing your booking (date, number of participants, type of course)
If you want to change your booking, for instance the date or number of participants, please contact the Booking Centre at 800800907 or +39 02 45467655 if you are calling from abroad. Of course, this option depends on whether we can actually meet your request. 


No-show without prior cancellation/message
In this case, please contact the Call Centre, which may consider potential alternative solutions in case of serious justifications. In these cases, clearly no refund can be requested.


I am a company and I need an invoice
When registering for the course, you have the option of specifying this request by providing your Company Name (if other than the Surname/Name provided), as well as your VAT number.


My personal information
Personal information provided to make the booking will be stored on our systems only for the time required to process the booking itself. It will be deleted and in any case not used for marketing mailing purposes, unless you have expressly specified otherwise in the registration form. Security of information
The information provided by you will be managed as specified by the privacy watchdog. Nestlè will not share, in any way, your information with other partners/companies for commercial purposes, thereby guaranteeing absolute confidentiality.
